Buy a Nissan Qashqai
I never thought I would say this I want to buy a Nissan Qashqai!
The Nissan Qashqai is a compact crossover SUV produced by the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan since 2007. It is the first model to be styled by Nissan Design Europe in London, with engineering development led by Nissan Technical Centre Europe (NTCE) in Cranfield, Bedfordshire.
The Nissan Qashqai is targeted at those buyers who want a dynamic design, but are not interested in the large, aggressive nature of a sport utility vehicle such as the BMW X5. The Qashqai replaces the Nissan X Trail and to some extent the Nissan Primera too.
Performance wise the Nissan Qashqai is not going to set the roads on fire, the entry level 1.6 petrol produces 113 BHP some super minis produce more than that. The diesel 1.5 produces 104BHP again relatively not very powerful. There are larger petrol and diesel engines which I would recommend if you are after a bit more acceleration and top speed.
The Qashqais strength lie in refinement road and suspension noise is well contained, even the diesel engine only produces a small rumble. The chunky tyres and supple suspension means it floats along all types of surfaces without much fuss, noise or body vibration.
Prices at new are very competitive compared to rival manufacturers and models, new models can be picked up for around 16,000. For a cheap Nissan Qashqai you do have to shop around a little more, as they are very popular and good ones don't hang about.

Where can I buy government seized cars?
I want to buy a government seized car but I need to know where to find listings of cars. I also want to know the process, if anyone has experience with buying one.
Does any1 kno where I can look at cars that have been seized? Every site I’ve gone to requires some membership
I was hoping to buy a seized car that is extremely below retail price. I always hear about police auctions and government auctions online and in commercials but they always lead to me having to pay for a membership that doesnt do anything but charge me. Does anyone know of a legit police auction or a place where I can buy seized cars? I’d prefer any place in new jersey.
I think the whole idea is to sell you a list that doesn’t exist … the gov sells used cars from prisons ex- cop cars , tractors etc but the deals are far and few between ..and if it was such a great deal do you think some cop isn’t smart enough to buy it himself and resell it ??
their are no pie in the sky deals out there except the person who needs to sell right now for some reason .. or someone WHO likes you an awful lot
How to buy seized cars from banks?
I have heard that banks seize cars from loan defaulters and later auction them. I live in Noida and willing to buy such a car. If anyone knows how to proceed on such deals, please let me know.
banks are not in the car business, most often they call an auto reposseser, and that’s the end of it, the bank writes the loss off at the end of the year, the Repo guy makes money, and if you work for a repo guy, or a tow company, you can find some really good deals, some small town banks may do a auction, but you need to be on the inside track to find the good deals,
What can you tell me about buying government seized cars?
I’ve been looking at some and they are really nice cars for like $1500. Is it viable and legit to buy seized cars? What’s the catch? What should I avoid or be cautious of?
Try credit companies like this one:
http://www.foundersfcu.com/ADA_repo.aspx
Do a search on the major engines with the keyword “repossessed cars” and scroll away, you could also do this with “repossessed+credit” and I’m sure you’ll be looking at cars and places up to the point where you will be able to narrow it down to something more practical to you.
Then there is of course the old fashioned yellow pages.
Happy hunting!
